Ester Karnoski is a visual artist whose work considers the experience and responsibility of looking in intimate moments. She explores the implications of placing the queer, feminine subject in the position of the voyeur. Ester’s work seeks to invite viewers into her immediate relationships and environments to create connection through visual exchange.

Ester was born in 1992 in Jerusalem and graduated from the University of Washington in 2014 with a BS in Psychology and Gender, Women & Sexuality Studies before pursuing her MFA in Fine Arts at the California College of the Arts (prospective 2022).
